Wellness Information
Psalms 139:14 “I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.”
Mission Statement: In partnering with parents in Christian Education, St Paul’s Lutheran School (SPLS) is committed to promoting the overall well-being of our students, staff, and community by fostering a healthy, safe, and supportive learning environment that encourages lifelong wellness habits.
Rationale: God the Father Created us, the Holy Spirit dwells within us, and the Son died for us. Therefore, we are worth taking care of. Just as St. Paul’s School partners with parents and families in Christian education, so, too, we partner in prioritizing children’s spiritual, emotional, and physical well-being. 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 state “Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God? You are not your own; you were bought at a price. Therefore honor God with your bodies.” That is why all subjects, including health and physical fitness, will be taught in the light of God’s Word.
